Lately…..

Hello all you JHM folks! This is a long overdue blog. (Sorry I spend most of my days chasing my two little boys around my house). Beyond life at home and church life we’ve had the chance to hit the road some this summer. Thanks to everyone on the east coast who made it out to one of our shows. We sure loved getting to worship with you guys. We especially wanted to thank everyone who came out this weekend and supported the Qualls family benefit. They were tragic victims of the recent floods in Nashville. The event was called Driven by Love and was the brainchild of the late great Dana Key who went to be with the Lord just a few short weeks ago. Many of you know that Dana had a big impact in my life as a writer and musician. I was honored to be able to play this show in his memory. What a great man.



It was also really great to get the share the stage with a few of my label mates Todd Agnew and Joy Whitlock. They are such great people and great artists. It was nice to spend some time with them. The event was a huge success and I was proud to have been a part. Many of you may have heard about the event on the Klove morning show or may have even seen us on the news. Instructional Videos

Hey gang wanted to let you know I filmed some new “How To” instructional videos today for the “We Welcome You In” album. They can be found on the Video Page. Most of the songs are super simple. I actually played the guitar parts so that they could be picked up on and learned quickly. It’ll be a cinch for anyone from beginners to pros. Most of the tunes are voiced out of G chord shapes! (Worship leaders applaud here!) Seriously we just wanted to make a super singable and easy to play record for you guys. New Live Shows Announced

Greetings all you fine folks out in webland. I wanted to put up a quick blog and let you know we’ve added a few new live dates up on the site. The guys and I are really excited to getting back out on the road and leading worship again. By our tweets you can see we’ve been super busy writing and recording in the studio, which means we will have a ton of new songs to play for you all when we come to your town. So in addition to the new live record, we’ve recorded 10 other new tunes so it should be a big year for us with lots of new music. If you have been wondering about the live album let me apologies to those of you who have been unable to get it. The new label is still working out how they are going to release it. (I’ve just been telling myself that patience is a fruit of the Spirit, and that the Lord must be testing me! LOL) Just a reminder you can stream the full album right here on the site, right now!  I really hope you guys love it. We worked so hard to put together a record that was Holy Spirit inspired.
